Board App was created by three guys with the idea of connecting students online. Through the app, students from the same university can communicate with each other like in a messenger app (for group projects, for example) or share information with fellow students via a board. In 2018, the guys launched a clever guerrilla marketing campaign to generate star capital and some awareness for the board app.
Illustration, Art Direction
We helped the board app gather all the necessary information and compress it visually using graphics. This allows the reader to catch the core information with one eye, and further allowed us to integrate all the important elements on the product. Finally, we placed the logo of each sports team and illustrated the respective mascot in a prominent position - and of course a corresponding fight announcement could not be missing.
For the guerrilla marketing campaign in 2018, which was based on a cooperation with two sports teams and which included the distribution of chocolate in their football and hockey stadiums, we printed our own created chocolate packaging. The marketing campaign led to an increase in production and online sales due to high demand, thus reducing production costs, creating seed capital and a loyal fan and user base.
